Bliss Lemon & Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash

This is Aaliyah with Skin.Edu, and this is part 10 of a miniseries that I’ll call “Is it Aaliyah Approved?” where I review body and skincare products. Today I’m reviewing the Lemon and Sage Soapy Suds Body Wash from the clean skincare brand, Bliss.  I knew from when I first smelled this product I was going to be a fan. It’s a giant 17 oz. bottle for $10 on Ulta, and it smells amazing, like sweet lemon candy but you still catch the undertones of the earthy sage. The ingredients were pretty good and followed their clean standard.  I was impressed that without even adding water, the body wash began to lather, and then once I added water it really started to bubble up - so it definitely lived up to its name of Soapy Suds! It created a thick, creamy lather that felt really nice on my skin, and even when I rinsed it off, my skin still felt really smooth.  You can find this product on Ulta for $10 for a 17 oz. bottle: https://www.ulta.com/p/lemon-sage-soapy-suds-body-wash-xlsImp...

Tree Hut Sugared Fantasy Body Scrub

Tree Hut Sugared Fantasy Body Scrub  This is Aaliyah with Skin.Edu, and this is part 11 of a miniseries that I’ll call “Is it Aaliyah Approved?” where I review body and skincare products. Today I’m reviewing the Sugared Fantasy Body Scrub from the body scrub brand, Tree Hut. Without even trying this body scrub, I already knew I wasn’t going to like it. The scent wasn’t what I expected (although, at this point, I’m not sure I know what to expect from Tree Hut body scrubs), however I think I was hoping for a sweet candy scent, blueberry, or something like that since the container was blue and the name has sugar in it. I was wrong - at least about everything except for the blueberry, since it does have blueberry as a key ingredient. The scent notes are blackberry, vanilla, and jasmine, which is a nice combination, but I found this scrub to be a little too strong.  My skin felt okay afterwards, but I would definitely recommend using body butter or cream afterwards to keep your ski...

Diet and Skincare

This is Jillian with Skin.edu from TikTok. For those who struggle with acne: “There isn’t enough evidence that points to one food like chocolate or carbohydrates as contributing to acne because there just aren’t enough well-conducted studies,” “However, there have been several studies that have observed societies as they modernize, and as diet changes, acne incidence increases.”  Numerous studies have looked at what nutrients affect skin wrinkling, dryness and thinning. The vitamins, minerals and antioxidants present in foods like fruit, vegetables and healthy fats are consistently associated with fewer wrinkles and less age-related dryness. Reports that are saturated fat and sugar are most often linked to a higher likelihood of wrinkles      Please view this tik tok link for a quick helpful tip on a food that will help treat acne:  https://vm.tiktok.com/TTPd2oYk1o/
